The Best Marvel Snap Decks

Welcome to our Marvel Snap best decks tier list where I try to cover all of the top decks in the game. In this article, I’ll be covering what I believe are the best decks in the meta, with a focus on high rank Infinite.

A new season is here with the month of June, and two new card releases have come out. Gilgamesh and Thena have only just come out, so we’re not too sure on their impact on the meta just yet.

Furthermore, this patch is bringing a major change to Thanos. The Infinity Stones are quite different now, and it’ll be interesting to see what comes of the change.

Overall, the tier list hasn’t changed too much, but expect things to change in the coming weeks.

If you’re a Marvel fan in multiple gaming genres, be sure to also check out our Marvel Rivals tier list.

Marvel Snap Deck Tier List

Let’s get right into the tier list. Be sure to use the table of contents on the sidebar to jump to different decks.

  • S – Prof X
  • S – Hela
  • S – Bounce
  • S – Wong
  • S – Loki
  • A – Junk
  • A – Cerebro 3
  • A – Phoenix Force
  • A – Zoo
  • B – Thanos
  • B – Namora
  • B – Negative Tribunal
  • B – Galactus
  • B – Destroy

Disclaimers

Overall, the decks in this list will be more catered to Ladder than Conquest. Conquest is a very high skill format, but most players seem to prefer Ladder now that there’s Infinite ranks.

Credits to snap.fan for their deck builder and images sourced from their website.

Lastly, there are many more deck archetypes that we would consider to be C tier. While I would put some decks in C tier, the list would get too long if I put every single archetype I can think of. As such, we’re mainly showing some decks in B, the semi-competitive/niche decks.

Prof X – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Professor X Deck 6-11

Prof X Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiRGVjayAxOCIsIkNhcmRzIjpbeyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbmdlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhbm5vbmJhbGwifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikhhdm9rIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJIb3BlU3VtbWVycyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVmZlRoZUJhYnlMYW5kU2hhcmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpdHR5UHJ5ZGUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5vY3R1cm5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJQcm9mZXNzb3JYIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSYXZvbm5hUmVuc2xheWVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTYWdlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJUaGVuYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2hpdGVXaWRvdyJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Kitty Pryde
  • 2-cost: Angela, Havok, Thena, White Widow, Jeff, Ravonna Renslayer
  • 3-cost: Sage, Hope Summers, Nocturne
  • 5-cost: Professor X, Cannonball

Commentary:

Professor X has become the new big bad of the meta. While decks like Hela might not be interactive, Professor X directly stops you from playing in one location. This play pattern has been a debate for a long time, and Prof X has soared back up the meta.

With the release of Thena and Sage, the deck can now run a lot of low-power cards to take advantage of Ravonna Renslayer. The deck outputs a lot of power while also disrupting enemy decks with Prof + Cannonball.

Hela – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Hela Deck 5-15

Hela Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxhZGUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNvbGxlZW5XaW5nIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMYWR5U2lmIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEcmFjdWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKdWJpbGVlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCbGFja0NhdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxpbmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ25ldG8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkdpZ2FudG8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkluZmluYXV0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEZWF0aCJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Blade
  • 2-cost: Colleen Wing
  • 3-cost: Lady Sif
  • 4-cost: Jubilee, Black Cat
  • 5-cost: Blink
  • 6+cost: Hela, Magneto, Giganto, The Infinaut, Death

Commentary:

Hela is back toward the top of the meta with Leech out of the picture. There never was truly an answer to Hela, and she reigns supreme as the best combo deck.

Blink provides a lot of high roll potential, even if you don’t draw into Hela. While Professor X is a strong counter to Hela, the deck still is a pillar of the meta.

The deck is simple to play and snap, it’s effective, and it doesn’t require many Series 5 cards.

Bounce – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Bounce Deck 6-5

Bounce Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSG9vZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2l0dHlQcnlkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSWNlbWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaWNvTWlub3J1In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbmdlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJlYXN0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJGYWxjb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik15c3RlcmlvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCaXNob3AifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhpdE1vbmtleSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWxzYUJsb29kc3RvbmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNhc3F1YXRjaCJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: The Hood, Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Nico Minoru
  • 2-cost: Angela, Beast, Falcon, Mysterio
  • 3-cost: Bishop, Hit-Monkey, Elsa Bloodstone
  • 6-cost: Sasquatch

Commentary:

Bounce can definitely put a lot of Power on the board, and it has a lot of potential. While Professor X decks can be difficult, the deck can still output a lot of power by turn 4/5, with scaling threats like Bishop.

You can also adjust the deck to be more explosive faster, dropping cards like Sasquatch in favor of more low-cost cards.

Overall, Bounce is in a decent spot, but it’s not oppressive.

Wong – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Wong Deck 6-11

Wong Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaWdodGNyYXdsZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkplZmZUaGVCYWJ5TGFuZFNoYXJrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSYXZvbm5hUmVuc2xheWVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJcm9uaGVhcnQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNhZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5vY3R1cm5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXb25nIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJJcm9uTGFkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXaGl0ZVRpZ2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOYW1vcmEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9kaW4ifV19
  • 1-cost: Nebula, Nightcrawler
  • 2-cost: White Widow, Jeff
  • 3-cost: Ironheart, Sage, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Wong, Iron Lad
  • 5-cost: White Tiger, Namora
  • 6-cost: Odin

Commentary:

On Reveal decks have been in the game since the beta, and the deck has finally risen back up to meta relevancy. The release of Namora really put this deck back in the spotlight.

With Namora, the deck has a powerful alternative to White Tiger on turn 5 post Wong. This lets the deck be more consistent while also having lots of Power.

The deck can also utilize move cards like Nocturne, Jeff, and Nightcrawler, giving the deck more flexibility and control.

Loki – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Loki Deck 6-11

Loki Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2l0dHlQcnlkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUXVpbmpldCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU25vd2d1YXJkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbmdlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlRoZW5hIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWxzYUJsb29kc3RvbmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlJlZEd1YXJkaWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBZ2VudENvdWxzb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5vY3R1cm5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaGFuZ0NoaSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTG9raSJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Kitty Pryde, Quinjet, Snowguard
  • 2-cost: Angela, Thena, Jeff
  • 3-cost: Elsa Bloodstone, Red Guardian, Agent Coulson, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Shang-Chi, Loki

Commentary:

Bounce Loki saw some play when Werewolf was buffed, but the deck didn’t last long. With Thena now in the game, Loki decks are now back on the Angela/Elsa package, which was and still is very strong.

Loki is rarely the best deck in a meta, but he’s almost never a bad pick. The deck might not win every matchup, but it has a strong spread that makes it playable into many decks.

Junk – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Junk Deck 6-11

Junk Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJUaXRhbmlhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXaGl0ZVdpZG93In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUmF2b25uYVJlbnNsYXllciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiR3JlZW5Hb2JsaW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ2lrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEZWJyaWkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlByb2Zlc3NvclgifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhbm5vbmJhbGwifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRvY3Rvck9jdG9wdXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlJlZEh1bGsifV19
  • 1-cost: Nebula, Titania
  • 2-cost: White Widow, Jeff, Ravonna
  • 3-cost: Green Goblin, Magik, Debrii
  • 5-cost: Professor X, Cannonball, Doctor Octopus
  • 6-cost: Red Hulk

Commentary:

Junk is very similar to Professor X decks, and the two archetypes have a lot of overlap. When it comes to Junk, you generally see more tools like Debrii, Doctor Octopus, Annihilus, etc.

Overall, Professor X + Cannonball is one of the best duos in the game, and there’s a lot of variations you can play to surprise your opponent.

Cerebro 3 – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Cerebro 3 Deck 5-29

Cerebro 3 Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVmZlRoZUJhYnlMYW5kU2hhcmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlF1YWtlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSYXZvbm5hUmVuc2xheWVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTZW50aW5lbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVVNBZ2VudCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2VyZWJybyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTXlzdGlxdWUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpbGxtb25nZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1vYml1c01Nb2JpdXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYW5nQ2hpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWYWxreXJpZSJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Bast
  • 2-cost: Jeff, Quake, Ravonna Renslayer, Sentinel, US Agent
  • 3-cost: Cerebro, Mystique, Killmonger, Mobius
  • 4-cost: Shang-Chi
  • 5-cost: Valkyrie

Commentary:

Cerebro 3 has become a main stay in the meta. There are a ton of 3-power cards you can utilize to spice up the deck like Invisible Woman, Luke Cage, etc.

The deck is surprisingly resilient with Enchantress/Rogue out of the meta. Tech cards like Killmonger, Shang-Chi, and Valkyrie are also quite valuable as they fit naturally into the deck’s engine.

Phoenix Force – A-Tier

Marvel Snap PF Deck 6-5

Phoenix Force Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiR2hvc3RTcGlkZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikh1bWFuVG9yY2gifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhcm5hZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik11bHRpcGxlTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYWdpayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVmVub20ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRlYXRobG9rIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaHVyaSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVGhlUGhvZW5peEZvcmNlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaW1yb2QifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybmltWm9sYSJ9XX0==
  • 1-cost: Human Torch, Nico Minoru
  • 2-cost: Carnage, Multiple Man
  • 3-cost: Magik, Cosmo, Venom
  • 4-cost: Phoenix Force, Iron Lad
  • 5-cost: Iron Man
  • 6-cost: Onslaught, The Living Tribunal

Commentary:

Phoenix Force continues to be a solid choice. There are rough counters to the deck like Professor X, but you have The Living Tribunal to counter him.

You can still play the deck with Shuri Nimrod over Tribunal, but that version is much weaker to Professor X.

Zoo – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Zoo Deck 6-11

Zoo Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiR2hvc3RTcGlkZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikh1bWFuVG9yY2gifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhcm5hZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik11bHRpcGxlTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYWdpayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVmVub20ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRlYXRobG9rIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaHVyaSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVGhlUGhvZW5peEZvcmNlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaW1yb2QifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybmltWm9sYSJ9XX0==
  • 1-cost: Sunspot, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Kitty Pryde, Nebula, Nico Minoru
  • 2-cost: Angela, Thena
  • 4-cost: Ka-Zar
  • 5-cost: Blue Marvel
  • 6-cost: Sasquatch

Commentary:

As a deck, Zoo is very simple and straight forward. You have lots of low cost cards and just play them out. Thena incentivizes you to play a certain way, but that isn’t too difficult with lots of 1-cost cards.

Gilgamesh is the recent Season Pass card, and he also gets very large when you fulfill his ability. Sasquatch is another nice finisher, but you can also play him early on turn 5 if you play two cards on turn 4. This lets you play Sasquatch + 1-cost on turn 5, and finish with Gilgamesh/Blue Marvel on turn 6.

Thanos – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Thanos Deck 6-11

Thanos Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUHN5bG9ja2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkplZmZUaGVCYWJ5TGFuZFNoYXJrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRHdWFyZGlhbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTm9jdHVybmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Iklyb25MYWQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkN1bGxPYnNpZGlhbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUHJvZmVzc29yWCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGVnaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDYW5ub25iYWxsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2NraW5nYmlyZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxvYiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVGhhbm9zIn1dfQ==
  • 2-cost: Psylocke, Jeff
  • 3-cost: Red Guardian, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Iron Lad, Cull Obsidian
  • 5-cost: Professor X, Legion, Cannonball, Mockingbird
  • 6-cost: Blob, Thanos

Commentary:

The recent change to Thanos has brought him back in the meta, but he hasn’t shown too much promise yet. The deck also runs the Professor X + Cannonball duo.

Overall, Thanos is a fine option to play, but it’s just less consistent than the decks above.

Namora Skaar – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Namora Deck 5-29

Namora Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiRGVjayA5IiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybW9yIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDYXB0YWluTWFydmVsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDcm9zc2JvbmVzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJFbmNoYW50cmVzcyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGl6YXJkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMdWtlQ2FnZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmFtb3JhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOb2N0dXJuZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUXVha2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYWRvd0tpbmcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNrYWFyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJUeXBob2lkTWFyeSJ9XX0=
  • 2-cost: Shadow King, Armor, Quake, Lizard
  • 3-cost: Luke Cage, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Captain Marvel, Enchantress, Crossbones, Typhoid Mary
  • 5-cost: Namora
  • 6-cost: Skaar

Commentary:

This deck uses the recently released Namora along with Skaar to output efficient Power on the board. By using Namora on 5-Power cards, you can turn them into 10-Power, discounting Skaar. This will ideally result in a 2-cost Skaar, allowing you to play an additional 4-cost on turn 6.

This deck is a solid option to play if you don’t have all the cards for the Namora Wong deck.

Negative Tribunal – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Negative Tribunal Deck 6-11

Negative Tribunal Decklist:

eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmx1ZU1hcnZlbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbkxhZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbk1hbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSnViaWxlZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGl2aW5nVHJpYnVuYWwifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ2lrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNck5lZ2F0aXZlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNeXN0aXF1ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiT25zbGF1Z2h0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJQc3lsb2NrZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUmF2b25uYVJlbnNsYXllciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2VyYSJ9XX0=
  • 2-cost: Psylocke, Ravonna Renslayer
  • 3-cost: Mystique, Magik
  • 4-cost: Mister Negative, Jubilee, Iron Lad
  • 5-cost: Iron Man, Blue Marvel, Sera
  • 6-cost: Onslaught, Living Tribunal

Commentary:

Living Tribunal is a known quantity, and the deck hasn’t really changed much. The deck is seeing more play with less Mobius in the meta.

Overall, Tribunal is a solid combo deck, but it will be hard to steal cubes when most players understand the deck and know when to retreat.

Galactus – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Galactus Deck 6-5

Galactus Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiWDIzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJFbGVjdHJvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLaWxsbW9uZ2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWZW5vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2F2ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxpbmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktudWxsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJHYWxhY3R1cyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQWxpb3RoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJVbHRyb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkRlc3Ryb3llciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifV19
  • 1-cost: X-23
  • 3-cost: Electro, Killmonger, Venom, Wave
  • 5-cost Blink
  • 6+cost: Knull, Galactus, Alioth, Ultron, Destroyer, Death

Commentary:

This new Galactus deck has become a popular list. The deck uses interesting combinations like Ultron + Destroyer for a free Death. Galactus may or may not be played, giving this deck some mind games.

Destroy – B-Tier

Destroy

Destroy Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhZHBvb2wifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlgyMyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2FybmFnZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV29sdmVyaW5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJIdWxrYnVzdGVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLaWxsbW9uZ2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWZW5vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGhsb2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYW5nQ2hpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLbnVsbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifV19
  • 1-cost: Deadpool, Nico Minoru, X-23
  • 2-cost: Carnage, Wolverine, Hulk Buster
  • 3-cost: Killmonger, Venom, Deathlok
  • 4-cost: Shang-Chi
  • 6+cost: Knull, Death

Commentary:

With less Leech in the meta, decks are putting Shang-Chi back in, which is quite bad for Destroy. Even still, the deck is extremely popular, so expect to see it in your games.

Replacements:

  • Arnim Zola
  • Taskmaster

Methodology

We’ve tried our best to evaluate these decks based on a few key factors:

  • Overall Strength: The first factor is simply how much Power a deck can put onto the board. At the end of the day, Marvel Snap boils down to a numbers game, and decks that can put high Power on the board will be strong.
  • Consistency: Consistency is quite hard to determine for Snap due to the snap mechanics. You can always retreat and make up for it if what your deck does is extremely powerful, albeit difficult to pull off. Even still, being able to enact a similar game plan repeatedly leans to an overall smoother climb.
  • Flexibility: For Marvel Snap, flexibility is somewhat equivalent to “surprise factor.” A deck is flexible if you have a multitude of options that your opponent cannot easily counter/predict. This means you aren’t always enacting 1 gameplan every game, but can adapt based on the situation.
  • Counterplay: Lastly, a deck should also be analyzed based on possible counters. If a deck has the highest ceiling but is easily countered, it may be difficult to win. Conversely, if a powerful deck has space to play it’s own tech cards, that will help it’s overall strength/ranking as well.

This wraps up our Marvel Snap Best Decks Tier List for the “Celestials” season. Stay tuned as we update this tier list as more time passes.

Good luck in your games, and thanks for reading!
