The Best Marvel Snap Decks

Welcome to our Marvel Snap best decks tier list where I try to cover all of the top decks in the game. In this article, I’ll be covering what I believe are the best decks in the meta, with a focus on high rank Infinite.

We’re more than halfway through the month of May, and the meta hasn’t changed too much from last week. The past OTA and patch shook up the meta with things like Ultron and Leech, and those decks are still going strong.

Shang-Chi is now much less common in decks, as Leech counters him to a degree. The release of Sage has also brought Bounce back into the meta to target decks that can’t beat its power output.

Marvel Snap Deck Tier List

Let’s get right into the tier list. Be sure to use the table of contents on the sidebar to jump to different decks.

  • S – Loki
  • S – Patriot
  • S – Bounce
  • S – Blink Leech
  • A – Hela
  • A – Shuri
  • A – Phoenix Force
  • A – Ongoing
  • B – Destroy
  • B – Cerebro 3
  • B – Destroy Annihilus
  • B – Ramp

Disclaimers

Overall, the decks in this list will be more catered to Ladder than Conquest. Conquest is a very high skill format, but most players seem to prefer Ladder now that there’s Infinite ranks.

Credits to snap.fan for their deck builder and images sourced from their website.

Lastly, there are many more deck archetypes that we would consider to be C tier. While I would put some decks in C tier, the list would get too long if I put every single archetype I can think of. As such, we’re mainly showing some decks in B, the semi-competitive/ fun decks.

Loki – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Loki Deck 5-15

Loki Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2l0dHlQcnlkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUXVpbmpldCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU25vd2d1YXJkIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbmdlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhYmxlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWxzYUJsb29kc3RvbmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlJlZEd1YXJkaWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBZ2VudENvdWxzb24ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5vY3R1cm5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMb2tpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2NraW5nYmlyZCJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Kitty Pryde, Quinjet, Snowguard
  • 2-cost: Angela, Cable, Jeff
  • 3-cost: Elsa Bloodstone, Red Guardian, Agent Coulson, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Loki
  • 5-cost: Mockingbird

Commentary:

Loki is still simply a good deck. You have good power with Angela + Elsa Bloodstone, and Loki gives you a ton of flexibility. The deck also has a lot of options.

You can run cards like Valentina, Mirage, Agent 13, etc. Overall, the meta has begun to also shift away from Shang-Chi with Leech being more common.

While Loki might not have the best numbers, you can just never count this deck out.

Patriot – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Patriot Deck 5-21

Pixie Patriot Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2FzcCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3F1aXJyZWxHaXJsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEYXp6bGVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNeXN0ZXJpbyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUGF0cmlvdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2F2ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbkxhZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSXJvbk1hbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmx1ZU1hcnZlbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTW9ja2luZ2JpcmQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9uc2xhdWdodCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVWx0cm9uIn1dfQ==
  • 0-cost: Wasp
  • 1-cost: Squirrel Girl
  • 2-cost: Dazzler
  • 3-cost: Patriot, Wave
  • 4-cost: Iron Lad
  • 5-cost: Iron Man, Blue Marvel, Mockingbird
  • 6-cost: Onslaught, Ultron

Commentary:

The buff to Ultron brought Patriot back into the meta. The deck can be quite budget, using a lot of Series 3 cards, but this version uses some Series 4/5 cards like Iron Lad and Mockingbird.

Wave lets you play out Onslaught early, into Blue Marvel/Iron Man, into Ultron on 6. The Mockingbird engine is also solid as an alternative to Ultron if you don’t draw him.

Overall, the deck is straight forward and effective at putting power on the board.

Bounce – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Bounce Deck

Bounce Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSG9vZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2l0dHlQcnlkZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmljb01pbm9ydSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQW5nZWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCZWFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRmFsY29uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNeXN0ZXJpbyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2FnZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmlzaG9wIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJIaXRNb25rZXkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkVsc2FCbG9vZHN0b25lIn1dfQ==
  • 1-cost: The Hood, Bast, Kitty Pryde, Nico Minoru
  • 2-cost: Angela, Beast, Falcon, Mysterio
  • 3-cost: Sage, Bishop, Hit-Monkey, Elsa Bloodstone

Commentary:

The release of Sage has catapulted Bounce back into the meta. You play our your scaling threats like Angela/Bishop, and bounce cards back with Falcon/Beast.

This lets you scale them higher and higher. You have Sage and Hit-Monkey as strong finishers, overpowering enemy decks. Leech can be an issue if it hits your Monkey/Sage, but you can still overpower your opponent with your other cards.

Blink Leech – S-Tier

Marvel Snap Blink Leech Deck

Blink Leech Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiRnVuY3J1c2hlciBQbHVzIiwiQ2FyZHMiOlt7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkJsaW5rIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSnViaWxlZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiS2xhdyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGVlY2gifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ25ldG8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5lYnVsYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTm9jdHVybmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlF1YWtlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRHdWFyZGlhbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUmVkSHVsayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2hpdGVXaWRvdyJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Nebula
  • 2-cost: White Widow, Jeff, Quake
  • 3-cost: Red Guardian, Nocturne
  • 4-cost: Jubilee, Leech
  • 5-cost: Klaw, Blink
  • 6-cost: Red Hulk, Magneto

Commentary:

Blink Leech has stood out as the new “midrange” deck. Instead of playing for heavy synergy, this deck simply puts together the best cards in the game. Leech into Blink counters a lot of decks, while also putting strong Power on the board.

Klaw is also a great target to get from Blink, as you can split your Power across locations.

Hela – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Hela Deck 5-15

Hela Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxhZGUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNvbGxlZW5XaW5nIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMYWR5U2lmIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEcmFjdWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKdWJpbGVlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJCbGFja0NhdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxpbmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkhlbGEifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ25ldG8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkdpZ2FudG8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkluZmluYXV0In0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJEZWF0aCJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Blade
  • 2-cost: Colleen Wing
  • 3-cost: Lady Sif
  • 4-cost: Jubilee, Black Cat
  • 5-cost: Blink
  • 6+cost: Hela, Magneto, Giganto, The Infinaut, Death

Commentary:

Hela never really left the meta, and in the introduction of Blink simply made the deck better. Jubilee into Blink can be incredibly powerful, and you might not even need Hela to win.

Leech does potentially counter Hela, but it’s possible to draw Hela late and avoid the Leech in some games.

Shuri – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Shuri deck

Shuri Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiWmVybyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWJvbnlNYXcifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybW9yIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJMaXphcmQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNhdXJvbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2h1cmkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkVuY2hhbnRyZXNzIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJUeXBob2lkTWFyeSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVGFza21hc3RlciJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVmlzaW9uIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRTa3VsbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2hlSHVsayJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Zero, Ebony Maw
  • 2-cost: Armor, Lizard
  • 3-cost: Sauron
  • 4-cost: Shuri, Enchantress, Typhoid Mary
  • 5-cost: Taskmaster, Red Skull
  • 6-cost: She-Hulk

Commentary:

Shuri is an old deck that has recently come back into the meta. The deck isn’t vulnerable to Leech, as Shuri and Sauron can be played before or at the same time as Leech.

Enchantress can get hit, but you’re not looking to play Enchantress against Leech decks. Taskmaster is another potential vulnerability to Leech, but he’s not required to win games.

This deck easily competes for two lanes, while also having some room for tech like Enchantress against Ongoing decks. Enchantress synergizes with the deck to turn off things like Red Skull or Typhoid Mary, so its a natural inclusion.

Phoenix Force – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Phoenix Force Deck

Phoenix Force Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiR2hvc3RTcGlkZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikh1bWFuVG9yY2gifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhcm5hZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik11bHRpcGxlTWFuIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWZW5vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGhsb2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNodXJpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaGFuZ0NoaSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVGhlUGhvZW5peEZvcmNlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJOaW1yb2QifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybmltWm9sYSJ9XX0=
  • 1-cost: Ghost-Spider, Human Torch, Nico Minoru
  • 2-cost: Carnage, Multiple Man
  • 3-cost: Venom, Deathlok
  • 4-cost: Shuri, Phoenix Force
  • 5-cost: Nimrod
  • 6-cost: Arnim Zola, The Living Tribunal

Commentary:

With less Professor X and Shang-Chi in the meta, Phoenix Force is still a competitive option to play. You won’t be able to go for Nimrod plays if you get hit with Leech, but The Living Tribunal acts as another win condition.

The deck has been around for a while now, and people will be expecting Tribunal. Even still, you can get some free wins when you get to do your game plan.

Ongoing – A-Tier

Marvel Snap Ongoing Deck

Ongoing Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiT25nb2luZyIsIkNhcmRzIjpbeyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJBbnRNYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFybW9yIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJDb3NtbyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVhbkdyZXkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikx1a2VDYWdlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYW5UaGluZyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTW9iaXVzTU1vYml1cyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTW9qbyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPbWVnYVJlZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3BlY3RydW0ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlVTQWdlbnQifV19
  • 1-cost: Ant-Man, Nebula
  • 2-cost: Mojo, Armor, US Agent
  • 3-cost: Cosmo, Mobius, Jean Grey, Luke Cage
  • 4-cost: Man-Thing, Omega Red
  • 6-cost: Spectrum

Commentary:

The release of US Agent brought about some experimentation with a new Ongoing archetype. While there are still classic cards like Ant-man and Cosmo, Jean Grey opens up a lot of tech for the deck.

By forcing your opponent to play into a location, you can use Man-Thing or US Agent to secure a location win. Cards like Mojo also help with winning the Jean location.

This deck still remains a solid option, especially in a Leech meta. The only On Reveal card is Spectrum, and the deck can still do very well without Spectrum as a finisher.

Destroy – B-Tier

Destroy

Destroy Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhZHBvb2wifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik5pY29NaW5vcnUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlgyMyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2FybmFnZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV29sdmVyaW5lIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJIdWxrYnVzdGVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLaWxsbW9uZ2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJWZW5vbSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGhsb2sifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYW5nQ2hpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLbnVsbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifV19
  • 1-cost: Deadpool, Nico Minoru, X-23
  • 2-cost: Carnage, Wolverine, Hulk Buster
  • 3-cost: Killmonger, Venom, Deathlok
  • 4-cost: Shang-Chi
  • 6+cost: Knull, Death

Commentary:

Destroy hasn’t really changed, but the meta has gotten better for it. More decks are cutting Shang-Chi, and the deck doesn’t care too much about Leech.

Your late game finishers with Knull and Death aren’t affected by Leech, so you can still overpower opponents. As long as you play your Destroy cards by turn 4, you’ll be doing fine.

Replacements:

  • Arnim Zola
  • Taskmaster

Cerebro 3 – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Cerebro 3 Deck

Cerebro 3 Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmFzdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVmZlRoZUJhYnlMYW5kU2hhcmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlF1YWtlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSYXZvbm5hUmVuc2xheWVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTZW50aW5lbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiVVNBZ2VudCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2VyZWJybyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTXlzdGlxdWUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpbGxtb25nZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1vYml1c01Nb2JpdXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Iklyb25NYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlZhbGt5cmllIn1dfQ==
  • 1-cost: Bast
  • 2-cost: Jeff, Quake, Ravonna Renslayer, Sentinel, US Agent
  • 3-cost: Cerebro, Mystique, Killmonger, Mobius
  • 5-cost: Iron Man, Valkyrie

Commentary:

Cerebro 3 is once again popping back into the meta. Like other Ongoing decks, Cerebro isn’t hurt too much by Leech. You lose Mystique and Valkyrie, but you can still do a lot with the rest of the deck.

Cerebro also generally plays fine into Loki, as Loki doesn’t really steal anything super valuable except for Iron Man.

Destroy Annihilus – B-Tier

Destroy-Annihilus

Destroy Annihilus Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSG9vZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmljb01pbm9ydSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3F1aXJyZWxHaXJsIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJYMjMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNhcm5hZ2UifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik15c3RlcmlvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJLaWxsbW9uZ2VyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTZW50cnkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkFubmloaWx1cyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGFkeURlYXRoc3RyaWtlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2NraW5nYmlyZCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRGVhdGgifV19
  • 1-cost: The Hood, Nico Minoru, Squirrel Girl, X-23
  • 2-cost: Carnage, Mysterio
  • 3-cost: Killmonger
  • 4-cost: Sentry
  • 5-cost: Annihilus, Lady Deathstrike, Mockingbird
  • 6+cost: Death

Commentary:

This deck was mainly a strong option as an anti-junk deck. In the Leech meta, Annihilus is a big risk to run. However, the Annihilus core is still good against decks like Patriot.

The deck likely will move down in strength and popularity, but we’re leaving it on the list for now.

Ramp – B-Tier

Marvel Snap Ramp Deck

Ramp Decklist:

eyJOYW1lIjoiTmV3IERlY2siLCJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTmVidWxhIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJKZWZmVGhlQmFieUxhbmRTaGFyayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRWxlY3RybyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiV2F2ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSnViaWxlZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQmxpbmsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNhbmRtYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlZpc2lvbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiRHJEb29tIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPZGluIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZWRIdWxrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNYWduZXRvIn1dfQ==
  • 1-cost: Nebula
  • 2-cost: Jeff
  • 3-cost: Electro, Wave
  • 4-cost: Jubilee, Blink
  • 5-cost: Sandman, Vision
  • 6-cost: Doctor Doom, Odin, Red Hulk, Magneto

Commentary:

Ramp has risen in popularity as a deck that can utilize Blink. Even still, the deck isn’t necessarily a strong meta pick in the current meta. It lacks a bit of consistency, and other decks can still overpower you with your perfect curve.

Methodology

We’ve tried our best to evaluate these decks based on a few key factors:

  • Overall Strength: The first factor is simply how much Power a deck can put onto the board. At the end of the day, Marvel Snap boils down to a numbers game, and decks that can put high Power on the board will be strong.
  • Consistency: Consistency is quite hard to determine for Snap due to the snap mechanics. You can always retreat and make up for it if what your deck does is extremely powerful, albeit difficult to pull off. Even still, being able to enact a similar game plan repeatedly leans to an overall smoother climb.
  • Flexibility: For Marvel Snap, flexibility is somewhat equivalent to “surprise factor.” A deck is flexible if you have a multitude of options that your opponent cannot easily counter/predict. This means you aren’t always enacting 1 gameplan every game, but can adapt based on the situation.
  • Counterplay: Lastly, a deck should also be analyzed based on possible counters. If a deck has the highest ceiling but is easily countered, it may be difficult to win. Conversely, if a powerful deck has space to play it’s own tech cards, that will help it’s overall strength/ranking as well.

This wraps up our Marvel Snap Best Decks Tier List for the “Blink in Time” season. Stay tuned as we update this tier list as more time passes.

Good luck in your games, and thanks for reading!
